We are delighted to let you know that the hearing aid drop in sessions in Dundee are now re-opening. There are three drop in sessions, all supported by volunteers from the Audiology department at King’s Cross Hospital in Dundee. The drop in sessions are:
Following a change to hospital visiting guidance announced by the Scottish Government, visitors should now take a lateral flow test and return a negative result before visiting the hearing aid drop in clinics. Due to COVID restrictions, you will be required to wear a surgical face mask in our premises unless you are medically exempt. Masks are available at the Reception Desk. You will also be required to follow physical distancing and hand sanitising guidelines.
At peak times, you may be asked to wait in your car or outside the premises.
To reduce foot traffic within the library, please do not bring anyone else with you unless support is needed to attend. Please do not arrive before 2pm as this will increase your waiting time and numbers of people in the premises.
Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or presenting with any symptoms of COVID19.
Our volunteers are able to replace tubing for standard hearing aids with ear moulds. Our volunteers are able to replace tubing and domes for Open Fit Style Hearing aids with slimtubes and domes.
