Corporate Partnerships

Developing a corporate partnership with NESS will benefit your organisation as well as NESS.   A corporate relationship with NESS will help to raise funds to make a difference to blind and deaf people in the North East of Scotland, and will also benefit your organisation by:

  • Bringing you positive PR
  • Increasing awareness and visibility of your company
  • Building a good team spirit
  • Strengthening  your reputation.

NESS would be delighted to work with you as your Charity Partner, either as part of your corporate social responsibility initiative or as a one-off year of fundraising for the charity!     For more information, please email lorraine.middleton@nesensoryservices.org

Corporate fundraising ideas

There are many ways your company can raise vital funds to support the work that NESS does, and in turn support blind and deaf people to achieve independence.  Here are some suggestions, but you may have your own ideas.  Get in touch with any ideas you may have.

  • Themed bake sales – Easter, Halloween and Christmas, everybody loves cake!  Get some competition going between departments and you never know there may be a budding Bake Off star amongst you!
  • Corporate sporting challenges – get competitive, enter some teams to take on the Kiltwalk, Tough Mudder or Ride the North.
  • Lucky Square Raffles – easily done and won’t take up too much of your time!
  • NESS Event Sponsor – be a Corporate sponsor for the NESS Ball in March 2024. The success of these bigger events relies heavily on sponsors.  Of course there are many benefits to your organisation for this support – PR around the event, social media awareness and exposure at the event!

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy, hassle free and tax efficient way of giving a regular donation to charity.  It must be paid through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) from someone’s wages or pension.

The scheme needs to be set up by an employer.  For more information about setting up Payroll Giving visit

Pennies for Promise

Pennies for Promise is a UK payroll giving scheme that allows an employee to make a donation to a charity directly from their net pay.  Their pay is rounded down to the nearest pound and the remaining pennies are donated to a charity of their choice.

These donations of pennies each month can make a significant difference to the work of NESS!
