Volunteer and Activities Co-ordinator (Aberdeen)

Part time (10 hrs per week over 2 or 3 days)

To work in our highly successful Connect Include Support (CIS) service, which is dedicated to older people living with significant sensory impairments.

It is part-funded by the National Lottery Community Fund

The annual salary begins at £6,413 for a 10 hour week, which is equivalent to £12.33 per hour

Based in our Aberdeen office, as the member of the CIS team with specific responsibilities for its volunteers, activities and events, you will bring organisation, enthusiasm and hands-on leadership to our weekly social activities programme, which helps our service users overcome isolation, and increase their connections.

Rehabilitation Worker (25 hrs per week)

SJC Scale pt. 30-35  (£29,041-£33,202 pro rata) 

A Certificate or Diploma HE Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) is required for this post.

As Rehabilitation Worker, you will undertake assessments and reviews of specialist rehabilitation for blind and vision impaired people. You will establish a training plan designed to meet an individual's needs, providing information and advice and work with others in the organisation as well as outside agencies. We offer an integrated sensory service, supportimng people who have sight loss, hearing loss and both.

This is a permanent post, based in our Aberdeen Office
