Part-time Fieldwork Assistant (4 days/29 hrs/w)

SJC Scale pt. 18-20 (£20,429 - £21,484) pro rata

This is a new post offering practical support to our service users, providing specialist aids for daily living and communication, helping with filling in forms and practicing skills taught by the Rehabilitation Officer. The post will be based at our Dundee Office but many aspects of the work will be carried out at peoples’ own homes throughout the City.

Applicants must be Qualified to SVQ3 in a care related discipline. Full training on specialist aids and sensory loss specific training will be provided.

Rehabilitation Worker (25 hours per week)

SJC Scale pt. 30-35  (£29,041-£33,202 pro rata) 

A Certificate or Diploma HE Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) is required for this post.

As Rehabilitation Worker, you will undertake assessments and reviews of specialist rehabilitation for blind and vision impaired people. You will establish a training plan designed to meet an individual's needs, providing information and advice and work with others in the organisation as well as outside agencies. We offer an integrated sensory service, supportimng people who have sight loss, hearing loss and both.

This is a permanent post, based in our Aberdeen Office
