Volunteer Co-ordinator, Dundee and Angus (part time 3 days per week or equivalent)

Salary begins at £13,949 for a 21.75 hour week, equivalent to £12.33 per hour (SJC ppts 23-26)

NESS is the leading local provider of services for people living with serious sensory loss, including people who are blind and/ or deaf. We provide a range of services locally, including social/ peer-support groups throughout the Dundee and Angus area. We are currently seeking to recruit a Volunteer Co-ordinator for this area.

You will visit local communities, offering support to the groups and recruit, train and support our volunteers to undertake a range of activities.

Rehabilitation Worker (25 hours per week)

SJC Scale pt. 30-35  (£29,041-£33,202 pro rata) 

A Certificate or Diploma HE Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) is required for this post.

As Rehabilitation Worker, you will undertake assessments and reviews of specialist rehabilitation for blind and vision impaired people. You will establish a training plan designed to meet an individual's needs, providing information and advice and work with others in the organisation as well as outside agencies. We offer an integrated sensory service, supportimng people who have sight loss, hearing loss and both.

This is a permanent post, based in our Aberdeen Office
