What is it and who is it for?

Structured lipreading classes for people with hearing loss in Moray, based in Elgin

Where and when do you meet?

Classes are held on regular days and at regular times in at NESS, Elizabeth House in Elgin.

What do you do?

Verbal communication can be extremely frustrating for people with hearing loss. Learn to recognise visible lip shapes and learn coping strategies in a supportive environment, with others who know how it feels. Find out about some of the types and causes of hearing loss, as well as practical advice on hearing aids and other equipment.

How do you join?

Classes are very popular and sometimes are over subscribed. At such times we have to operate  waiting list. If you are interested in joining a lip reading class please enquire if there are places available
