NESS’ Service User Forum is open to all NESS service users and is an opportunity to feed back, discuss issues, explore possible solutions and exchange views. You will also find out what’s going on at NESS as well as locally and further afield.
Approximately every 8 weeks, we meet on a Wednesday morning at NESS in John Street. Start time is normally 11.00 and the Forum lasts for around two hours, but people can leave at any time. Dates and times of meetings are advertised in NESS News, on notice boards at NESS premises and on social media.
We meet to exchange views, discuss issues that affect people with sensory loss, both inside NESS and in the wider community. We have regular attendees who are living with sight loss and/ or hearing loss. A BSL – English interpreter is available as well as a hearing loop system.
There is no formal membership of this group and no commitment to attend regularly is required. Anyone who is eligible to receive support from NESS can come along.
No cost – cakes and beverages are supplied by NESS
