NESS has had to take action to protect our service users, volunteers and staff. These are unprecedented times and we are doing what we can to prevent the spread of disease and keep people safe. As Government advice changes, we may need to change these measures.
Actions introduced today:
- Home visits and face to face appointments will no longer take place.
- Face to face meetings, Clubs, Groups and Events have been cancelled. Where practical telephone contact, email and other forms of digital communication will be used in their place.
- People referred to us for information, equipment or support will be contacted by telephone or electronic media, where practical and in the absence of this, by letter. We will do our very best to maintain contact and will reinstate visits and appointments, once the restrictions are lifted.
We appreciate these are worrying times for you and that the effects of our precautionary actions could be seriously isolating, so we encourage service users to phone or email to the usual contact numbers for support or information during this difficult time. We expect a number of our dedicated staff and volunteers will be available to take your calls.
