Access Tours at V&A Dundee

NESS groups in Dundee, Angus and Aberdeen are all looking forward to visiting the newly opened V&A Dundee museum, the only museum of design in the UK.  Built to look like Scottish cliff face, the V&A is committed to making the museum as accessible as possible to everyone and to engaging with local communities so they can enjoy all that the museum has to offer.

The V&A will be running regular accessible tours of the museum and some of the museum exhibitions.  The tours will be free and will take place on the first Monday of every month.  The first of these take place as follows.

  • Monday 5th November 2018 at 15.45 – Ocean Liners:  Speed and Style (described)
  • Monday 3rd December 2018 15.00 – the Scottish Design Galleries (BSL tour)
  • Monday 7th January 2019 at 15.00 – the design and architecture of V&A Dundee (described)
  • Monday 4th February 2019 at 15.45 – Ocean Liners:  Speed and Style (BSL tour).
